Question: Why Forex market prices are different by brokers? Can currency prices change differently?
Yes, the prices you see in the charts of different Forex brokers could be different.
The reason is as follows.
There is no central of Foreign Exchange markets.
But there are hundreds of Liquidity Providers, Mega-Banks and other entities that mainly create the money flow in the Forex market.
Each entity has got different (but very similar) prices to offer to exchange with another.
The prices you are seeing through your Forex broker are the prices offered by these liquidity providers.
And the list of liquidity providers are different for each Forex broker, thus the prices you are offered would be different too.
Although, now that there are countless numbers of entities and investors trading actively in the market, these trades do affect the market price.
Meaning that the price you are seeing is also the price we all have created together.
Conclusion, each Forex broker offers different price quotes at least slightly depending on their liquidity providers.
You can also find a broker with a bit delayed price quotes than others, or high volatile price quotes than others.
