Question: Any countries which XM does not provide services to?
According to its official website, XM does not provide services to residents in United States of America, Canada and Israel.
It is due to the regulatory reasons for Canada and Israel.
For US citizens, the Dodd-Frank Act passed by the US Congress, the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) no longer allows XM to let US residents open trading accounts with them.
Legally speaking, no foreign brokers are allowed to provide financial services to US citizens, unless the brokerage firm is licensed by US financial authority.
If you are not sure whether XM accepts residents of your country as clients or not, please go to the XM Registration Page and see if your country is within the list.
If your country isn’t in the list, please contact XM support for more information.
