The USA Federal Reserve meeting will be held on Wednesday, July the 26th, at 19 PM GMT+1.
In the previous meeting held during June, the US Federal Reserve increased the interest rate from 1.0% to 1.25% which was in line with the expectations.
The Fed is planning to continue with gradual increases of the reference interest rate this year.
According to the earlier announcements, one more increase could take place before the end of the year, however, it is quite unlikely to happen as a result of this week’s meeting.
Besides the interest rate decision, the Fed will also announce its position on the current economic conditions and the still unsatisfactory inflation rate.
