Each trader can have up to 200 positions at the same time on XM MT4 and MT5.

The number of positions include both existing open positions and pending orders, and it is calculated per trader but not per account. (you can open up to 10 accounts with XM)

Although the number of positions is limited, traders can still open over 200 positions at the same time. But in this case, XM will contact you to decrease the number of positions.

Normally, in this case the trader will need to decrease the number of positions less than 200 within 24 hours, otherwise all your accounts can be disabled for trading temporary by XM.

This measure would be taken in order to decrease the number of messages sent to XM’s trading server, thus lightening the load to avoid any possible malfunctions.
