The difference between Demo and Live accounts
There are two major difference between Demo and Real/Live MT4 accounts for traders.
The first one is the market liquidity.
You can trade in a Demo MT4 account without money liquidity concern, meaning that there is no slippage(positive and negative ones), re-quotes and order rejections at all.
So your orders can be executed at the price where there is no such liquidity in the real exchange market.
So the profit/loss result in Real and Demo accounts cannot be the same at all.
The another difference is the psychological situation.
Using your own money and fake money for tradings are two totally different things.
In a Demo MT4 account, you may do something you wouldn’t do in a real account with your real money.
You may want to use a Demo MT4 account only to see the real-time spread and usability of the MT4.
