Question: How to calculate margin for hedged positions in cTrader?
For the hedged positions in cTrader, required margin doesn’t set off.
If the same symbol is being traded, cTrader requires the margin for the direction(Buy or Sell) with higher volume and higher margin required.
For Example
You have
- 0.5 lot EURUSD sell position
- 1 lot EURUSD sell position
- 1 lot EURUSD buy position
In this case, you have higher volume of sell position
So the required margin is 1.5 lot for the EURUSD sell position.
