Question: I transferred different currency to MT4/MT5 accounts. What happens now?
If you have made a deposit in another currency other than the base currency of your trading account, the funds will be converted to another automatically by corresponding banks.
Before making a transfer, you should be able to choose whether you prefer converting the funds with your bank or directly with the bank of FXTM.
You may contact the corresponding banks to find out the real-time(or daily) exchange rate and incurring fees.
FXTM does not charge any extra commissions for your deposit and withdrawals, but the corresponding banks might charge you directly to the transferred funds.
For your information, FXTM offers EUR, GBP and USD as options for account’s base currency.
If you don’t have your funds in one of the above currencies, then you must convert your funds into another with your bank or FXTM’s anyway.
Exchange Rate on MT4 is different
FXTM offers very tight spread (the difference of bid and ask prices) on MT4 and MT5 trading platforms, but they are not applied when you need to convert your funds to another currency for your accounts.
Daily exchange rate will be applied for converting your funds to another currency which is done by FXTM’s corresponding banks.
The rate may change daily.
If you like to know the daily rate, please contact FXTM support team from the FXTM Official Website.
