Question: I can't login and trade on Tradeview's trading platforms.
For demo accounts, you will receive your log-in credentials and download information a few moments after the registration has been completed.
For live trading accounts, you will receive your login credentials after your application has been approved. This usually happens within 24 hours of sending them your account application.
In case your application or submitted documents are not accepted by Tradeview compliance team, they will come back to you with details, and you may be required to submit other documents to verify your information.
After opening an account(validating your information), you are finally able to login to Tradeview trading platforms.
Now you just need to make a deposit and start trading.
Tradeview only requires 100 USD as the minimal deposit amount, it is not necessarily the recommended deposit amount though, lesser the deposit amount, more vulnerable to market volatility.
Solutions for login problems
If you are having trouble logging into your trading platform, then please check the followings:
- Capital letters in password – MT4, cTrader and Currenex are capital sensitive. You can try copy and paste the passwords if you are not sure about typing capital letters.
- Wrong server name – You must select the server name specified by Tradeview though, sometimes the server name itself can be changed. In this case please try other servers listed in the platform.
- Wrong trading platform – In order to login to your Tradeview Forex account, you are recommended to use the trading platforms downloaded from their official website. You can not use platforms from other brokers.
If you have forgotten an ID or password, you can also check or reset it from Tradeview’s Client Portal.
Alternatively, contact Tradeview support team from the Official Website to retrieve your account information.
When you can trade in Tradeview trading platforms?
On Tradeview’s trading platforms, the available trading hours are from 5 p.m. EST Sunday, until 5 p.m. EST Friday with no exception other than official holidays when local markets are closed.
The above trading hours are applicable to Forex and Precious Metals normally though, there are different time schedules for other CFDs.
For your information, Stock and Index CFDs are mainly affected by the national public holidays in these countries, as their stock exchange markets would be closed for these days.
Please note that the trading platforms such as MT4 and cTrader are set to GMT+3 as its standard platform time.
If you wish to change the time setting to your local time, you can do it only in cTrader but not on other trading platforms.
