XM does not offer any Stocks(Share) CFDs through MT4 Trading Platform. But over 180 Stocks are available for trading through MetaTrader5 Trading Platform.

If you like to trade Stocks with XM, you will need to open a MT5 trading account with XM.

Other than the Stocks, both MT4 and MT5 offer the same financial instruments including FX pairs, Commodity, Metals, Energies and Equity Index.

Please note that there are also differences in trading conditions between XM MT4 and MT5.

1. Web-based Trading platform is only available for XM MetaTrader5.
2. The maximum Leverage for MT5 is only 1:500.
