Question: I get Slippage on MT4 with deep liquidity. Why is that ?
Land-FX does offer “Deep Liquidity” and “Faster Execution” comparing to other online brokers.
You can confirm the fact by placing larger amount of orders and see how the slippage amount is smaller, and also by checking the “Ping”(latency) of the Land-FX’s trading server.
Especially, the “Ping”(the latency) is quite low comparing to other brokers.
Sometimes you can find other brokers which has got the ping 10 times more than Land-FX’s.
Slippage is one thing you can not avoid
“Slippage” happens to any financial market where “money liquidity” is related, and it is a common knowledge that this “Slippage” is an inevitable thing.
Slippage happens when you place an order, there is no available liquidity for your order to be executed, and when there is no enough liquidity, the trading servers normally find another price where it can find the enough liquidity to be executed.
So considering the fact, you can see how to avoid the “Slippage”.
- Order smaller amount so your order can match easily in the liquidity
- Trade major currency pairs where many traders are trading, so there is a larger liquidity pool
- Upgrade your internet connection(in case you have got a slow connection)
“Slippage” is not caused by your brokers, unless your broker is a market maker and wants you to make losses and Land-FX is not the case.
