How much is the trading cost of LMFX MT4 trading accounts?
Account Types of LMFX MT4
LMFX offers 3 different account types for traders.
Each account type provides different spread and trading commissions.
Please refer to the below table.

1. LMFX Premium Account
LMFX’s Premium account is for high leverage traders, as it is the account type which you can utilize 1:1000 leverage.
The spread starts from 1 pip and it is variable. There is no extra trading commissions charged but the spreads are the only things you will need to pay.
Some examples of spreads are:
- USDCHF – 1 pip
- EURUSD – 1.2 pip
- USDJPY – 1.6 pip
- EURGBP – 1.6 pip
Please note that these spreads could widen like 20 – 30 pips depending on the market volatility.
2. LMFX Fixed Account
Generally speaking, LMFX’s Fixed account is for EA traders as the account type offers same spread constantly.
In case of fixed spread type, the spreads are wider than the normal ones as traders will need to pay the extra for brokers.
Fixed account is the only account in LMFX where you can hedge your positions perfectly as you do not need to worry about the risks of variable spreads.
There is no extra trading commissions charged in this account and some examples of the spreads are:
- EURUSD – 1.8 pip
- EURGBP – 2.2 pip
- AUDUSD – 2.3 pip
Please note that you can no use the maximum leverage 1:1000 in this account type but only up to 1:400.
3. LMFX Zero Account
You can trade with the tightest spread in LMFX with this Zero account.
LMFX offers the raw spread through this Zero account. The “raw spread” means there is no mark ups on the original spread from the inter-bank market, but LMFX charge 4 USD for 1 lot of trading.
Zero account is for scalping traders.
Please note that you are allowed to use up to 1:250 leverage in the Zero account.
Some examples of spreads are:
- EURUSD – 0.2 pip
- USDJPY – 0.4 pip
- EURGBP – 0.5 pip
Spread can be changed during News Time
In some certain situations like news time to release important economic release, the market volatility could be really high.
And in that kind of situation, the spreads can go extreme wide about 20 pip or more.
It is not a price manipulation from LMFX but the raw spread(original spread) from the inter-bank market may have gone wider to adopt to the market situation.
This also applies to the fixed account too.
So you need to make sure that you have enough margins to support all you positions, as spreads going wide can directly affect your margin level.
Also even if you have hedged positions, if the spread could go wide, you will be required more margins to support your positions.
