The maximum trading volume you can place on MetaTrader4 of Land-FX is 50 lots.

50 lots is 5,000,000 units(dollars) and you will need about more than 10,000 dollars to place that much of volume with Land-FX.

Also, Land-FX is a broker who cares about the “deep liquidity” and “execution speed” though, in case you are placing orders of 50 lots on its MT4, the order will most likely gets huge slippage and may take a significant time to be executed.

It is because that average brokers secure only about 5 – 30 lots for the lowest spread they display in their MT4.

Meaning that there is no more liquidity at the price you are looking at in this moment.

So what happens if there is no enough available liquidity for your order to be executed? Yes, that is the “slippage”.

But you need to take into account that these liquidity pool is not just prepared for yourself, but for all traders trading in the same market.

It is often that when you place orders of more than 5 – 10 lots, you will already gets significant amount of slippage for your execution.

But you can’t really blame for this “slippage” to your brokers like Land-FX as normally it is the “liquidity providers” setting the limitation to the amount of orders in order to not receive too large orders.

If you like to increase the execution speed and less slippage, you may want to trade major currency pairs with deep liquidity and order smaller volumes for each time.

As Land-FX is a STP broker, there is always some reasons for slippages on the market’s side.
