Question: What's the minimum trading size(order volume) on MT4/MT5 (MetaTrader) trading platforms?
With FXTM, you can trade from 0.01 lot, which is 1,000 units(or dollars).
1,000 units is the minimum tradable volume and you cannot trade lower volume than that.
1 unit equals to 1 dollar or 100 JPY. So 1,000 units equal to 1,000 dollars or 10,000 JPY depending on the base currency.
Leverage up to 1:1000
Although, the minimum investment amount is 1,000 dollars(units) you are not required to deposit more than 1,000 dollars.
In fact, FXTM only requires only 100 USD as minimum first deposit amount, and you can surely start trading with only 100 USD in your MT4 account.
It is because FXTM offers the maximum leverage up to 1:400, and it will let you trade 1000 times more of the account balance. As in, you will be required only 1000 times smaller amount in your account when you trade with FXTM.
Simple calculation, if you like to trade 0.01 lot which is 1000 dollars, you must have at least 1 dollar in your account as free margin.
FXTM doesn’t have a limitation to the maximum number of trades you can make.
So the range of trading volume would be from 0.01 lot to unlimited amount.
