Although there are two big differences between them.

1. No Slippage

Since Demo accounts do not replicate market conditions(Liquidity, trading volume etc), there is no slippage.

With real account, you will often confront with slippage if trading volume is large.

2. Psychological Situation

This is a common knowledge though, trading with virtual money sure feels easy and non-serious.
